Brandi Glanville is going broke amid struggle to cure parasitic infection on her face, reveals how much she's spent

Brandi Glanville 's battle to find a cure for the parasitic infection in her face has not only affected her emotionally and mentally, but financially as well. The former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star caught the infection while in Morocco shooting The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club 2 in 2023. Now, more than two years later, Glanville has gone to more than 20 doctors to get help with her condition and is struggling to pay her bills. 'They didn't believe me,' said of the many physicians she visited. 'My insurance was like, "Nothing's wrong with you. It's just inflammation and old filler,"' she told US Weekly, referring to what she called the 'crazy lumps' on her face. 'My face started, like, moving around and doing things. I started to lose my eyesight in my left eye. It's insane,' she told the outlet. 'At first, my face was blowing up and getting really swollen. Then it started sinking in, and I felt like something was just eating me from the inside. I'm like, "It's eating my flesh."' The reality star said she has spent more than $130,000 looking for a cure. 'I'm paying the minimum on my credit cards. I've exhausted my savings,' she said. 'At my age, I feel like such a loser in a way, because I was taking care of everything. I was together. I had great credit. Now I'm scared about every little thing.' In the US, medical bills are one of the top reasons a person might file for bankruptcy, according to Glanville has turned to healthcare strategist Rachel Strauss, who calls herself the PBM Princess, for help contesting some of the charges her insurance hasn't covered. 'Where it does fall on her responsibility is working with the hospitals she saw to review what was billed and making sure it was billed properly,' Strauss told the publication. 'There are certain things that were truly emergencies that doctors will validate, and [we can get] those reduced however we can.' Strauss will help Granville negotiate service fees and come up with a payment plan that will allow her to continue to support herself. She also said it was important that the Drinking and Dating author get the insurance company to pay for some of the out-of-network visits she made to doctors, after providers within the insurance network were unable to find out what was wrong with her. 'Now that she has a definitive diagnosis, she's able to go back, and that's where she can start advocating financially,' Straus explained. 'There was something wrong, and that's where we have to go back and make sure that insurance understands that, because that is why she went out of network.' Glanville has also found a new physician to help her. Dr. Michael Scoma, is an infectious disease expert in New York City.

After A Photo From Her Live TV Segment Went Viral, Larsa Pippen Responded To Criticism Of Her 'Noticeably Overfilled' Appearance

Last week, Larsa Pippen found herself at the center of public attention after a photo of her on Fox 5's Good Night New York went viral. Larsa, 51, was criticized for her appearance, with several internet users — including cosmetic professionals, like Dr. Mai Kaga — sharing their thoughts. Kaga, who is a board-certified aesthetics provider, said that the Real Housewives star looked 'noticeably overfilled' in a now-viral video. 'Larsa Pippen, Real Housewives of Miami, has all the money in the world, and ended up looking like this,' she said, suggesting that Larsa's filler had 'gone wrong.' Related: Kaga captioned the video, 'From excessive facial filler to questionable surgery choices, her transformation is a reminder that not all cosmetic work is good work. Even with unlimited funds, choosing the right injector matters.' Before long, Larsa hopped into the comments to address all the talk around her appearance. 'Honey I had PRP and had an allergic reaction so chill out,' she wrote. PRP refers to platelet-rich plasma, which is a cosmetic procedure that involves a patient's own blood cells being injected back into their face in order to 'accelerate healing in a specific area,' per Johns Hopkins Medicine. Related: Larsa doubled down in a video shared to her Instagram stories, in which she said, 'Hey guys, you can relax. I had PRP on my face a couple days ago, so my face was a bit swollen. It looks like it's coming down. So you guys can just calm down.' And later on, the reality star shared another video addressing the photo. "So, I feel like that photo went viral… I'm wondering if someone made it look like that, because this is what my face looks like, you guys. I am on TV, so you know what I look like," she said. Related: 'I did have PRP, I did have an allergic reaction to the PRP, which I didn't even know you could have. So my face is a bit swollen. But it doesn't look like that. So, keep on hating guys,' she said. Kaga later responded to Larsa's original Instagram comment, writing in a separate video caption, 'Overfilled vs allergic reaction? The biggest culprit here is nobody saying NO. No to unnecessary treatments, no to too much filler, no the wrong procedures. Whose fault is it? The patient or the injector?' She also wrote in the comments, 'Double board certified physician here AKA Honey. Allergic reactions to PRP are extremely rare. You simply will not find allergies to your own blood cells all that common. Second- allergic reactions don't last 3 seasons on a streaming network. Honestly, this post really was not about Larsa, but about cautioning the current and future generations about being over treated and overfilled, unnecessarily and covering up your own natural features that make you uniquely beautiful. If even one person can learn from us pointing out what being overfilled looks like, it's worth it.' Related: Well then. Let us know what you think in the comments. Denise Richards claims there's video of ex stealing laptop containing nude photos

Denise Richards' lawyers claim they have video evidence that proves her estranged husband Aaron Phypers stole a laptop containing the reality star's nude photos, which she has accused him of illegally leaking. Claims of such footage were made during the exes' court hearing on Friday, though her attorneys didn't show the alleged video, per TMZ. The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' personality, 54, did not appear in court, though 52-year-old Phypers — who filed for divorce July 7 amid 'irreconcilable differences' — took part via Zoom. Days after the divorce filing, the 'Wild Things'-turned-OnlyFans star, who married Phypers in 2018, secured a temporary restraining order after accusing him of subjecting her to death threats and longstanding physical abuse, including a black eye in 2022. Phypers has denies those claims, which he insists are Richards' way of trying to distract from her alleged infidelity, which he says he discovered earlier in the year. Last week, Richards asked the court to prohibit Phypers 'from using, delivering, copying, printing or disclosing' any content from her devices, which she wanted promptly returned. Richards at the time said Phypers leaked her nude pictures and private text messages to media outlets, thereby 'repeatedly' violating the restraining order. Richards was then seen with an apparent black eye and cut on her chin Tuesday, with sources telling TMZ they stemmed from cosmetic work. However, two days earlier, cops were called after she showed up at Phypers' home to pick up her dogs after she claims he had one of them put down without her permission, which he denies.
